#ReviewShare #TimeTravel *5 STARS* The Photo Traveler by @ArthurJGonzalez

The Photo TravelerThe Photo Traveler by Arthur J. Gonzalez
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a fabulous read which had me totally immersed in the characters and events. Once I got started on this book, I couldn’t put it down as Arthur Gonzalez incorporated real events and characters in history, some of which I had never heard of.

While I typically prefer print books, I was glad to read this one on my Kindle, where a simple highlight could take me to more information on the Salem Witch Trials. I can’t remember the last time a book made me want to research history, but this one did.

If you’re wary of the time travel motif, never fear. The book centers around time travel, but there was a depth to the characters, their relationships, and history itself that kept my attention. If you like time travel with a slight twist and a young adult touch, you won’t be disappointed with this book.

GREAT REVIEW BY AUTHOR’S-FRIEND.COM!

The Photo TravelerThe Photo Traveler by Arthur J. Gonzalez
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
First of all, I’m super-duper in love with time travel stories so I started this book with bated breath. Based on what other book club members had told me, I had high expectations and I am delighted I wasn’t let down. Gonzalez allows Gavin enough freedom to tell his story without guiding the reader too much. You go where Gavin goes. I felt that Gavin was someone I knew and I had this bond with him which allowed me to think about what was happening and what part of the story had been changed by a time travelling alteration. Every character, bad or good, had a story to tell without confusing the reader. Best of all was the ultimate plan of the villains and their plans to change the world. All in all, plot and content wise, this was one of the best action packed time travel books I have read in a long time. The dialogue was too amateurish for my liking but assuming that the target audience for the book is a younger group, they might appreciate this more than I did.
